Suzanne is a Director in the oil & gas team and has recently relocated to the London area.

Suzanne qualified over 20 years ago and has significant experience working both in private practice and in-house. She advises on a wide variety of upstream oil and gas matters, both offshore and onshore, covering the life cycle of an asset, from licensing and joint bidding agreements at the start through to transportation arrangements and decommissioning at the end of field life, including acquisitions and disposals. She had an extensive secondment to the legal team at an oil & gas operator, advising its in-house commercial and finance teams on a wide range of day-to-day transactional, operational and compliance matters in respect of its UK, European and African operations.

In addition to her experience working in the oil and gas sector, Suzanne has considerable international corporate experience, advising on complex, high value transactions including advising on joint ventures, restructurings and M&A transactions. She worked in-house for a major US telecoms company, providing advice on corporate issues and infrastructure projects across its business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and before that, worked in private practice for a City law firm in the UK, Brussels and Asia, where she was seconded to a major financial institution.

Suzanne delivers commercially, astute, pragmatic advice and clients recognise her ability to think out of the box to resolve problems. She is English qualified, a member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators.
