SEMINAR PROGRAMME - UPDATE

In line with the latest Government advice and the developing situation with coronavirus (COVID-19) we have decided to postpone all future sessions in our Personal & Family Academy Spring programme.

Our primary concerns remain client service and continuity of our business, and ensuring that we, as a business, take appropriate measures to mitigate any spread of the virus.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and ask for your patience and understanding at this time. We continue to review matters daily, considering Government advice and best practice as it emerges. We will update you with details of the rescheduled event as soon as that information becomes available.

In the meantime, our lawyers can all be contacted by phone/email and will be looking at alternative options available to share our insight on personal and family law issues of relevance to you and your clients, including regular updates via our dedicated personal and family law blogs.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at brodiesacademy@brodies.com

WHAT?

Delivered by Brodies’ top-ranked Personal and Family team, our sessions give enthusiastic professionals involved in advising individuals on their financial affairs, from graduate-level up to eight years’ experience, the opportunity to extend their depth of knowledge, breadth of skills, and range of contacts, from the very start of their careers.

Our training sessions are specifically designed to ensure that all Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) and Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) members are able to record their attendance as Continuing Professional Development (CPD) helping them achieve their mandatory CPD requirements.

These free seminars are held in our Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen offices. Our sessions will cover a range of legal aspects relevant to those advising individuals on their financial affairs including in relation to wills, power of attorney, inheritance tax, legal rights, pre/post nuptial agreements and divorce and separation.
