The new VAT reverse charge is a major change to the way VAT is collected in the building and construction industry - from 1 October 2020 customers receiving construction services will have to pay the VAT due to HMRC instead of to the supplier.

These VAT changes coincide with an increasing HMRC focus on compliance with the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS).

This seminar will examine:

  • The practical impact of the new VAT rules;
  • How to avoid penalties for Construction Industry Scheme (CISCIS) non-compliance;
  • How the new IR 35 regime will affect the construction sector;
  • Find out if you could you be claiming Research & Development Tax Credits.
