Brodies LLP in conjunction with Devonshires are delighted to invite you to join us for a lunchtime session offering expert insight and analysis on the use of private placements for the financing of housing.

The raising of finance by means of the sale of loan notes direct to institutional investors is becoming increasing common with a number of successful issuances already in 2018. Increasingly such finance is becoming an integral element of many housing providers’ debt portfolios.

A series of short presentations followed by a panel session with sector experts will lead us through the practical steps required for the successful implementation of a private placement. This will focus on the raising of finance by housing providers but be of relevant to others potentially seeking to tap this market.

The seminar will consider:

  • How much can be raised – minimum and maximum
  • Parties involved and their roles
  • Process and timetable
  • Due diligence
  • Structure and paperwork
