Dylan's story

What is it about a career in law that interests you?

Having the chance to combine an intellectual challenge with the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives.

Why did you choose to do a summer placement at Brodies?

I sensed Brodies is a firm that really cares about its people. This was important in helping me make my choices as I believe that somewhere which fosters a supportive environment gets the best results from each individual.

What type of work did you do during your placement?

I have been involved in lots of different work, from being at team meetings, dialling into client calls, drafting real estate deeds, and even helping progress live transactions with lawyers from other firms.

Three words to sum up your experience at Brodies

Insightful, challenging, rewarding.
