Tell us about your role

I coordinate many of Brodies’ competitive tender opportunities across public, private, and third sectors. My role focuses on project managing live tenders from start to finish – from initial preparation through to final submission – and ensuring everything runs smoothly.

What aspect of your role do you enjoy most, and why?

I enjoy the variety of opportunities I get to work on – the diversity keeps my role interesting and gives me the chance to learn something new with each bid.

Which of Brodies five values resonates with you most and how do you incorporate it into your daily role?

Collaborate. Every bid is a team effort, involving close collaboration with the partner leading the opportunity and input from colleagues across teams. My role is to bring all these contributions together to deliver a strong, cohesive submission.

Apart from the necessary skills and knowledge, what other quality is essential for the role you perform?

Adaptability. No two tenders are ever the same – each comes with different timescales, formats, and requirements. Being adaptable means we can respond quickly to changes, manage competing priorities, and keep projects moving smoothly –no matter what challenges arise.

What three things can you not live without to do your job?

Microsoft Teams, our tender tracker, and a daily to-do list.
