I am a people engagement administrator. My role involves coordinating people-focused initiatives, supporting internal communications, and working closely with colleagues, clients, and external agencies to ensure processes run smoothly. I enjoy building strong relationships and contributing to an inclusive, welcoming culture that reflects Brodies’ values.

What do you enjoy most about working at Brodies?

The people and the culture. Brodies genuinely values collaboration and development, which creates an environment where you feel supported, trusted, and encouraged to grow while doing meaningful work.

Why did you choose to work in this role?

I chose this role because it combines intellectual challenge with practical impact. I enjoy work that requires attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly.

Which of Brodies' five values resonates with you most and do you incorporate it into your daily role?

Care resonates with me most. I incorporate it into my daily role by being approachable, supportive, and attentive to the needs of colleagues and external partners. I take the time to ensure people feel listened to, supported, and valued.

What's you top tip for someone keen to pursue a similar career?

Be curious and proactive. Ask questions, seek feedback, and take ownership of your development early, it makes a huge difference.

What’s something that people don't know about you?

I’m naturally quite reflective and enjoy learning new skills outside of work, particularly those that challenge me creatively or intellectually. I also have a strong musical background - having led an orchestra at 16, and I can play the flute, trumpet, and piano.
