The transaction represents the latest in a series of strategic acquisitions by Shackleton, adding a further £200 million of assets under management. The acquisition strengthens Shackleton’s presence in the south-east of England, and adds expertise in the professional sports sector as part of its ongoing expansion strategy.
Arundel Wealth Management provides financial planning advice to individuals and families, with particular expertise advising high-profile sports professionals, including retired football player and former manager of the England men’s team Gareth Southgate.
Following completion of the transaction, Shackleton’s assets under management are expected to hit £17.5 billion.
