Brodies has advised Shackleton, a leading independent financial adviser backed by Lee Equity Partners, on its acquisition of the business and assets of Pode Services Limited.

The acquisition expands on Shackleton’s existing pension on divorce expert (PODE) capabilities and reinforces its ability to provide specialist guidance to clients and legal professionals navigating divorce.

Brodies teams provided a comprehensive, full-service offering throughout the transaction, advising on all key aspects including corporate, tax and employment matters. The teams drafted and negotiated the principal acquisition documentation as well as all ancillary agreements required to complete the transaction.
