Brodies’ Energy Academy returns with the first of a new series of contracting compass sessions, focusing on contract creation and variation.
Can a contract be created by WhatsApp? What happens when performance begins before a contract is completed? How does an entire agreement clause effectively keep terms within the corners of the final contract? What should a variation clause say to ensure terms are not significantly altered during performance?
We will be looking at these issues together with recent case law and examples of best practice when it comes to drafting these clauses. Please come and join host Andy Russell, Partner in Oil and Gas who will be joined by William Payne, Senior Associate in Dispute Resolution and Risk and Calum Crighton, Legal Director in Oil and Gas.
