What are the benefits of taking the apprenticeship route into your career?
There's lots of support on hand and it's also an opportunity to get a 'foot in the door' while learning valuable key skills.
What did you know about the legal sector before you joined Brodies?
Very little, but being part of the IT team has really helped me expand my knowledge of the sector and to understand the importance of data security and firm policies .
What skills have you developed through your apprenticeship?
Communication and customer service. I've also had the opportunity to be part of a team and to expand my knowledge in areas of IT that I'm not so familiar in.
What difference have you seen in yourself as a result of your apprenticeship?
My confidence has grown significantly and I'm much more effective at communicating with colleagues and clients.
