What made you choose an apprenticeship at a law firm?

When I was at school, law really interested me. I did my work experience at Peterhead Sherriff Court and really enjoyed it.

If you hadn't done an apprenticeship, what would you be doing now?

Studying probably. I studied science and nursing at college so potentially I would have been at university now, studying one of those areas - or law perhaps.

What skills have you developed through your apprenticeship?

Communication skills, especially via email and phone, formatting and use of software plus drafting legal documents .

What difference have you seen in yourself as a result of your apprenticeship?

Going from a college setting into a workplace has made me mature a lot, and my time management skills have improved significantly.
