Brodies has raised almost £350,000 over the past 12 years for Maggie’s Centres throughout the UK, and has chosen Maggie’s as the firm’s official charity partner until 2020.

Maggie's runs a network of cancer caring centres throughout the UK which offer high quality, evidence-based psychological, emotional and information support to people diagnosed with cancer and their families.

We’ve been supporting Maggie’s Culture Crawl since its inception in Edinburgh in 2015, followed by Glasgow in 2016 and Aberdeen in 2017. This year, we were very excited to see the event series grow with a brand new Dundee event in August, and this year over 1,400 people will take part in events across the four cities; visiting iconic buildings and discovering cultural, architectural and artistic treasures along the way.

Maggies Culture Crawl with Brodies LLP

Our fundraising activities include team endurance events, such as an Arctic Trek in February 2019 where five of our colleagues spent three days trekking into the Arctic Circle raising over £25,000 from the challenge. We also have had teams take on Ride the North (a two day cycle in the Highlands), the Rob Roy Challenge (a 70 mile hike and cycle) and of course, the Maggie’s Culture Crawls.

Everyone at Maggie’s is absolutely thrilled to learn that Brodies staff have once again voted for us as their charity partner for 2017 to 2020. Brodies has supported Maggie’s since 2006 providing the vital funds which enables us to support thousands of people affected by cancer. The future of Maggie’s depends on the support of businesses like Brodies and its employees.

"The firm’s outstanding fundraising efforts, which last year included the sponsorship of first ever Maggie’s Culture Crawl Edinburgh, are invaluable. We look forward to continuing this long-standing partnership with Brodies and working with staff across Scotland to deliver exciting opportunities for everyone to get involved in. Thank you Brodies!
